How To Measure
Measure yourself in front of a mirror or ask someone to help for accurate results.
Circumference measurements (around the body)
- Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, wearing a bra you plan to wear with the dress
- Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, usually above your belly button.
- Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hips and bottom (approx. 20 cm below the waist).
Length measurements (vertical)
- Shoulder to floor: From the top of the shoulder (where a strap would sit) straight down to the floor, standing straight.
- Shoulder to desired length: From the shoulder down to where you want the dress to end (e.g., ankle, calf, knee).
- Waist to floor: From the natural waistline straight down to the floor.
Measurement Guide

| Bust Circumference | Measure around the bust at the fullest part, keeping the tape horizontal. |
| Waist Circumference | Measure around the narrowest part of the torso, usually above the navel. |
| Hip Circumference | Measure around the widest part of the hips and buttocks, keeping the tape horizontal. |
| Underbust Circumference | Measure just below the bust, around the torso. |
| Neck Circumference | Measure around the base of the neck without tightening. |
| Arm Circumference | Measure around the widest part of the arm (bicep) with the arm relaxed. |
| Wrist Circumference | Measure around the wrist, where the sleeve ends. |
| Thigh Circumference | Measure around the widest part of the thigh. |
| Knee Circumference | Measure around the knee, especially useful for fitted skirts or dresses. |
| Ankle Circumference | Measure around the ankle if the dress goes down and needs to fit snugly. |
| Front Torso Length | Measure from the highest point of the shoulder, over the bust, to the waist in the front. |
| Back Torso Length | Measure from the highest point of the shoulder, near the neck, to the waist in the back. |
| Total Length (Dress) | Measure from the highest point of the shoulder to the desired length of the dress (knee, calf, ankle). |
| Skirt Length | Measure from the waist to the desired length of the skirt. |
| Sleeve Length | Measure from the point where the arm meets the shoulder to the wrist or desired sleeve length. |
| Bust Height | Measure from the highest point of the shoulder to the fullest part of the bust. |
| Bust Separation | Measure the horizontal distance from one bust to the other (center to center). |
| Hip Height | Measure from the waist to the widest part of the hip in a vertical line. |
| Shoulder Length | Measure from the base of the neck to where the shoulder ends (toward the arm). |
| Total Height | Measure from the top of the head to the floor, with the person standing straight and barefoot. |
| Neckline Depth | Measure from the base of the neck (clavicle) downward, according to the desired depth of the neckline. |
